Want to volunteer with dogs this year?

One thing I always think about at the start of the year is volunteering more. As a dog lover, of course my first thought is getting involved with a local rescue group. If you have been thinking about doing this, a few area groups are holding orientations in the  next week so you can find out more information about getting involved.

The Berea Animal Rescue Fund will hold its volunteer orientation on Jan. 14 at 7 p.m. at the Strongsville Library. ARF will also host another one Feb. 15 at the Berea Library. To find out more visit: http://bereaanimalrescue.com/volunteer

Voices in the Dark will hold their volunteer orientation on Jan. 10 starting at 9:30 a.m. at the Cuyahoga County Public Library. More info can be found here: http://voicesinthedarkanimalrescue.weebly.com/events.html

The Cleveland APL will also be hosting a volunteer orientation soon. Keep an eye on their Facebook page to find out when: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Cleveland-Animal-Protective-League/29396512928

The Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter will hold a volunteer information session on Jan. 17 at 2 p.m. at the shelter. For more info, visit: http://cuyahogadogs.com/en-US/New-Volunteer-Orientation.aspx

This is just a short list of some upcoming orientations. Contact your local rescue group to find out how you can volunteer!
