Are you finished with your Christmas shopping? If not, don’t worry, there’s a great opportunity for you to get your shopping done and support a local animal shelter this weekend. This Friday, Saturday and Sunday, The Geauga Humane Society’s Rescue Village will be hosting “Art from the Heart” a holiday art show that will raise funds for the shelter.
This year Rescue Village is partnering with the Republic of Artists for the open house-style party and art show entitled “Carnival Couture – A marvelous collection of designers, artisans, and independent businesses.” Featured artists include: metal/wood artist 26 Briks, Painter Rhonda Williams, Stained Glass Artist Molly Tuttin and jewelry from Red I, among others. A portion of all art sales will go to Rescue Village.
The event kicks off Friday with a holiday party from 5-10 p.m. featuring art, adoptable animals, hors d’oeurves, a wine tasting, and an artist’s raffle. Saturday the event runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with live music from Texas Plant and Sunday the show runs from 12-5 p.m.
The pop up shop will be located at 4925 Pointe Parkway in Warrensville Heights (located off of Miles Road, behind the luxury car dealership, Marshall Goldman’s).
See you there!
