Yappy Hour Season, Part 1

Yappy hour season is here! Time to get out and drink with your dog while supporting a good cause. All summer long various bars, wineries and pet stores will be hosting yappy hours where you can bring your dog and enjoy drinks and fun. Here are some of the events announced so far:

Style Mutt Yappy Hour
Sunday, June 8

Winery at Wolf Creek
Tuesday, June 10 

Throughout the summer The Winery at Wolf Creek will host Yappy Hours on the second Tuesday of each month from 5 – 8 p.m. on the lawn. Proceeds benefit GivePetsAChance (www. GivePetsAChanceUS.org). Tickets are $10 per person at the door and include a raffle entry, a glass of wine and treats for your dog. Other Dates: July 8th, August 12th, September 9th, & October 14th. Quaker Steak & Lube
Saturdays LakewoodDogPark

Yappy Hour is every Saturday at Quaker Steak & Lube in Lakewood from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Saturday, June 14th your visit can benefit the Lakewood Dog Park. Print out the flyer from the site: http://lakewooddogpark.com/quaker-steak-lube-yappy-hour/ to donate 20% of your check to the Dog Park.

Woof, Wag & Wine
Grand River Cellars

Lake Humane Society’s 5th Annual Woof, Wag & Wine will be held June 14 from 1 to 5 p.m. Bring your dog along while you enjoy a tour of the vineyards, a wine tasting, live music and the chance to win prizes.  Admission is $20 per person.
