There is so much going on in June, I had to stop and write it all down. This month is packed with yappy hours, fundraisers and other chances to get out and enjoy the weather with your dog.
Here is the rundown of what to do this month (for a more complete list, view the calendar: http://dogsinthecle.com/dog-friendly-events/)
Greenwood Farm Pet Day
Hosted by Greenwood Farm and K9 Kingdom, this dog-friendly event will feature an animal blessing, a dog walk, a pet contest and a mini obstacle course for dogs. A $5 donation is suggested. Visit www.greenwoodfarmassn.org for more info.
Puppies on the Patio
Jukebox will turn their patio into a mini dog park from 11 am to 2 pm for the second Puppies on the Patio this weekend. Enjoy some brews while your dog meets some new friends. Food will be available from the Nelly Belly food truck and you can get 20% off at Ohio City Dog Haven next door if you bring your dog.

Fundraiser for Catherine Kryzwicki – June 14
Many of you have probably heard about the house fire in Euclid, where 17 pets were saved. This was the home of a woman I foster with through Central Ohio Pom Rescue, who is the most dedicated animal lover I know. Catherine lost a dog, two cats and a bunny in the fire and many of the dogs are still receiving veterinary care. Friends have organized a fundraiser to help her pay for her mounting bills. It will be at West Park Station and $20 gets you beer, wine, pizza and wings from 4-6 p.m.
You can also donate here to support Catherine: http://www.youcaring.com/bear-angela-armani-and-catherine-krzywicki-362990 or buy Tupperware here (40% of the proceeds will go to Catherine) http://www.tupperware.com/?fundraiser=556b3f8603da843b6f74fb5d
Save-A-Pet – June 20
Stop by Rivals Sport Grille for a buffet of pizza, salad and wings. There will be raffles and side boards too. This fundraiser is for animals in in the care of Forget Me Not Rescue who need urgent medical assistance, including surgeries and standard vetting.
