Freedom Dog Fest including 5K & 1.75 Mutt Strut
June 1, Aurora

You can bring your dog for the 5K or the 1.75 mile walk at Sunny Lake Park in Aurora. Following the run, the Freedom Dog Fest continues at Trails & Tails Dog Park, 841 Page Rd. Rescue groups and vendors will also be on hand. Visit www.freedomgreyhoundrescue.org for more information.

Akron Pet Expo
June 7, Hardesty Park, Akron

The pet expo will include an appearance by Dick Goddard, a cute pet contest and over 50 shelters and 60 vendors. Bring your non-dog owning friends! The goal for this year’s event is 200 adoptions.

Woof, Wag and Wine,
June 14, Grand River Cellars, Madison

It’s time for some baseball – with your dog! Bring your dog to watch the Indians take on the Los Angeles Angels.
