What to do in August

August is the month for some of the biggest dog events in Cleveland. Here’s hoping the weather is a little better for all of the dog parties this month! I’m getting tired of all the rain and dreariness.

Here’s what to check out this month:

Summer Scoop Aug. 10

Known as the “old dog party,” Summer Scoop will feature contest, raffles, food and games suited to the older canine crowd.  Dogs can participate in “The Old Dog Olympics” a special agility course for older dogs. The event is held at the Valley Parkway in the Brecksville Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks. For more info, visit: http://www.sanctuaryforseniordogs.org/id40.htm
