Cleveland Dog-Friendly Halloween Parties and Costume Contests

So you’ve got the perfect costume for your dog, but no where to go…Well don’t just sit at home and take pictures, there are tons of Halloween events over the next few weekends to get your dog out strutting his or her stuff in costume!

Oct. 17

Lakewood’ Spooky Pooch Parade

Join in the parade, or just observe from the sidelines, as dogs dressed in some of the best Halloween costumes you’ve ever seen walk down Detroit Ave. in Lakewood.  There will be awards given out in a variety of categories for the costumes. BARC Akron Dog Park Halloween Party

Akron Dog Park’s Annual “Howl-O-Ween” Fall Festival and Fundraiser will feature a costume contest for both dogs and humans, plus food, vendors, photos and raffles. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes. The event is free, but there is a $10 entry fee for the costume contest. More info here: https://www.facebook.com/events/843444572340680/

Crocker Park Halloween Costume Contest

Crocker Park’s annual Pet Costume Contest will take place on Main Street, between Gymboree and Francesca’s Collection. First, second and third place prizes will be awarded to the pets with the scariest, cutest and most original costumes. Petco Halloween Costume Contest

StyleMutt Halloween Costume Contest
